1. Airport Welcome :
We welcome guests outside the arrival hall, after luggage claim and customs. Meeting point: “SEAFARI MALDIVES” board (Private or individual welcome and assistance can be organized upon request).
2. Local flight transfer
If domestic flight transfer on arrival or departure to the boat presenting the boarding pass before the international flight is mandatory
The weight of checked baggage is limited to 25 Kg (specify diver at registration) + a hand luggage 5 kg.
The price of excess Kilo is $ 2 / kg / flight (rates are not guarantied)
Seafari or his representative provides the airport welcome and registration assistance for the local flight.
In case of delay between the international flight local flight, day use, meals, drinks, are the responsibility of the customers.
Seafari can offer a free tour of Male (included luggage handling and ferry. drinks and meals not included) upon request if waiting time exceeds 4 hours)
3. Boat and airport transfer :
Upon arrival and departure, guests are transferred to the boat by Dhoni (traditional Maldivian wooden boat) for cruise departing from Male and by plane or speed boat (with extra charge) for cruise starting from other Atolls or in case of late arrival.
Depending on arrival and return flight schedule, guest can be accommodated for extra night (at their own expenses) in a double room BB. If waiting daytime the first or last day, Hulhulé Island Hotel offers day use package from 45 to 75 $. Prices are informative, payment on site, subject to availabilities.
4. Services included in our prices :
Important : The cruise programs starts with airport welcome the day before cruise schedule departure and ends upon returning to the marina with breakfast. Check in on the first day from 11h00 am, check out the last day at 7h30 am. The diving package begins on the day of scheduled departure.
7 nights cruise :
Arrival and departure transfer between airport and boat , 6 days cruise full board (included tea, coffee and bottled water) and 7 nights in shared double cabin (suppl. single possible). Last night (7th) on board with breakfast only.
15 dives package (including night dive depending on cruise route), 80 cft (12 L) Al tanks single valve Din/int and weight. Extra dives: 20 USD/dive (day or night)
10 nights cruise :
Arrival and departure transfer between airport and boat 1, 9 days cruise full board (included tea, coffee and bottle of water) and 10 nights in shared double cabin (suppl. single possible). Last night (10th) on board with breakfast only.
22 dives package (including night dive depending on cruise route), 80 cft (12 L) Al tanks single valve Din/int and weight. Extra dives: 25 USD/dive (day or night)
14 nights cruise :
Arrival and departure transfer between airport and boat 1, 13 days cruise full board (included tea, coffee and bottle of water) and 14 nights in shared double cabin (suppl. single possible). Last night (14th) on board with breakfast only.
30 dives package (including night dive depending on cruise route), 80 cft (12 L) Al tanks single valve Din/int and weight. Extra dives: 25 USD/dive (day or night)
Important information: Seafari holds the right to accommodate guest in a 2** Hotel in double room HB without supplement (except single) for the first or the last night depending on cruise schedule and date of arrival/departure of the passengers.
5. Not included in our prices, taxes & service charge to be paid on site :

Non Alcoholic beverage: Juices, softs, soda water 3 $

Consumption of alcohol is prohibited during the day between dives but permitted in the evening with moderation. Beverage during meals and nights in hotels are not included.
Important note: Importing alcohol is strictly forbidden in the Republic of Maldives (all luggage are scanned upon arrival)
Useful information and diving regulations
6. Minimum diving level required for diving programs :
N2, Advanced, Cmas 2* or equivalent with 50 logged dives.
Accessible to Cmas 1*, N1 Open water Divers or equivalent with a minimum of 50 dives and mandatory advanced open water diver course upon arrival.
Seafari supervision can be mandatory, submitted to dive guides decision, for any divers whose skills do not match the required level to guaranty safe diving practice. For safety reason dive guide have the right to restrain any diver from diving, providing divers or group safety (without compensation).
7. Recommendation and divers safety advices :
Maldivian authority limits recreational diving to 30 meters- 100 feet depth.
- S.m.b. (surface marker buoy) is mandatory for all divers (for rent pre-booking mandatory)
- Dive Computer (for rent pre-booking mandatory)
- Medical statement of less than one year specific for scuba diving (provide a copy to leave on site).
- Diver’s certification and diving logbook.
- Insurance covering aquatic activities and specifically diving (can be purchased on board for the duration of the stay)
- Strobe light and pocket mirror
- Diving torch
8. Extra diving Services:
• Diving courses and equipment rental
Courses : Nitrox, Advanced, Rescue, specialties: drift dive, deep diving, wreck diving, photography upon request and subject to availabilities.
Diving equipment for hire on site: Aqualung
Regulator Calypso, BCD wave, Shorty 2,5 mm Aqualung, fins Stratos full foot.
Payment on site, please reffer to price list.
Note: Pre-booking is mandatory by email or online. Please indicate size for BCD, suit and fins.
• Nitrox 32%
Nitrox 32% filling for 80cft/12L and 100cft/15L at extra cost. Available according to on board demand. For technical and logistic reasons Seafari cannot guarantee all the dives with Nitrox during the cruise or Nitrox for each passenger nor the exactitude of the mix. A mix higher than 30% EAN or inability to deliver Nitrox services cannot open right to complaint or refund. This service is not contractual.
9. Non Divers joining diving cruise
Activities for the non divers during a diving cruise: introduction diving, courses, snorkeling, visit of island and other activities are depending on availabilities of the guides on board and the logistic of diving activities.
Note: All itineraries and numbers of dives are weather depending and submitted to local regulation and decision of the main guide on board.

10. Recommendation and safety advices to non divers passengers
Participants in snorkeling activities should ensure they are in good physical condition and able to participate in water activities and swimming. (Minimum recommended age 8 years)
Mandatory swim test at the beginning of stay.
If necessary, supervisors may impose Seafari snorkeling specific training (2 sessions) and / or wearing snorkeling vest or shorty to ensure the safety of participants.
The snorkeling in the program are guided but not supervised. Supervision is extra per supervised passenger and per session (45 minutes approx.) Supervision may be imposed by decision of the aboard monitors, to all participants whose technical level is not related to security. For the same reasons, monitors Seafari aboard may prohibit some activities considered too difficult. (Without compensation)
All passengers agree to respect the safety instructions and recommendations of the staff.
11. Boats and itineraries :
The routes are indicative and may be modified at the discretion of the Seafari team to reflect seasonal changes in in marine currents or migration of certain species such as Manta Rays. The name or description of itineraries and dive sites are not contractual.
Boats named on our schedule are indicative and may be changed without notice by vessels of equivalent or higher quality.
Ports or marinas of departure and return of the boats are indicative but are not contractual and are subject to change without notice, depending on the schedule of boats and administrative permissions.
12. Information for Travel agents and guest :
Small personal first aid kit with medication against stomachache, sun cream, mosquito repellent, motion sickness pills and other medication as recommended for the destination or by your usual General Practitioner.
PASSPORT: mandatory with validity date at least 6 month from return date.
Important: Name, surname, passport number with validity date and diving level of each diver must be sent to Seafari Maldives at least 30 days prior to arrival.
13. Cancellation policy and boat departure :
Cancellation policy applicable to all guest:
- less than 2 weeks from departure date : 100% of the total amount
- 3 to 4 weeks from departure date: 75 % of the total amount
- 5 to 6 weeks from departure date: 50 % of the total amount
- 7 to 8 weeks from departure date: 25 % of the total amount
- 8 to 16 weeks from departure date: 10 % of the total amount
The minimum number of participants to guaranty boat departure depends on the boat total capacity as below :
Boat capacity from 14 to 19 passengers: minimum of 6 passengers
Boat capacity from 20 persons and above: minimum of 8 passengers
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, Seafari holds the right to cancel the cruise, with no cancellation fees, 1 month prior to the schedule date of departure except for cruise with departure guaranty indicated on the online planning.
14. Delay on arrival and late arrivals
In case of late or delayed arrival of one or several passenger the departure of the cruise will not be delayed. Seafari will propose routing solution according to availabilities (by speed boat, plane or sea plane) for the passenger(s) to the boat. Transfer fees will be at the expense of passengers and should be paid directly on site (information and prices upon request)
In this case, Seafari cannot be held responsible for any changes in the contractual services (eg number of dives, meals or overnight).
15. Insurances and medical statement
Each participant must check before departure, that he is covered by assistance / repatriation insurance or specific insurance covering water activities, diving and / or snorkeling as appropriate.
Insurance covering scuba diving activities is mandatory for divers. Each diver must be able to produce proof of insurance at the time of check-in.
Otherwise additional Diveassure dive insurance must be purchased on site at the time of check-in.
A medical statement of less than one year for scuba diving activity or filling the medical questionnaire before departure or on site is mandatory.
16. Refund :
No refund or credit may be granted by the tour operator without prior agreement with Seafari Maldives.
Non-compliance of contractual circuit and the number of dives or snorkeling due to bad weather or administrative constraints do not open right to compensation.
No refunds will be granted in case the passenger fails to make all contracting activities:
- For safety reasons and regulations.
- Depending on the prerogatives of his level.
- Due to late arrival or return flight schedules which do not allow to respect the obligation of a recommended interval of 24 hours between the last dive and takeoff of aircraft
- Taxes already paid will not be refunded in case of cancellation by the passenger.
17. Non-delivery of the NITROX service, for technical reasons (failures, etc.). During the cruise, can not give rise to compensation. Delivery Nitrox is not contractual.
18. Rates adjustment
Seafari holds the right to modify service rates and prices following an exceptional and unanticipated increase of taxes (taxes, fuel taxes, VAT, import taxes) and supplies (food and fuel).
Payment of compulsory and optional extras: drinks, courses, equipment rental, taxes, etc. store. will be on the boat in cash and/or Traveller’s check (£ (USD) or $ (USD) and / or credit card (Visa).
Payments by check are not accepted.
This document represents the commitment of services and description of services Seafari Maldives.
Seafari Maldives cannot be held responsible for failure to deliver services in case of force majeure. Any claim for damages or potential compensation will be entirely at the discretion of Seafari Maldives.
Seafari Maldives is covered in civil liability by DAN Europe for activities related to diving.
Travel insurance, repatriation and diving accident are mandatory under the only responsibility of the Operator or customers.
